The TV anime adaptation of Kei Sazane's Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? (Japanese: Naze Boku no Sekai wo Dare mo Oboeteinainoka?) light novel series has released a second character trailer featuring the supporting characters, Ashran and Saki. The fantasy anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2024. The teaser trailer reveals that Japanese voice actors Seiichiro Yamashita and Sayumi Suzushiro will be voicing Ashran and Saki, respectively. As for the main staff, Tatsuma Minamikawa (Pon no Michi, The Vexations of a Shut-In Vampire Princess) is the director, Satoru Sugisawa (Love After World Domination) is the series screenwriter, and Hiromi Kato (The Kingdoms of Ruin) is the character designer. Studio Project No. 9 is in producing its animation.

What is Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? about?
The fantasy anime is based on the Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World? light novel series written by Kei Sazane and illustrated by Neco. Sezane is also known for God’s Game We Play and Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World series. The light novels were serialized under Kadokawa's Media Factory Bunko J Imprint from 2017 to 2020. It also received a manga adaptation illustrated by Akiran, which has been ongoing in Monthly Comic Alive magazine since 2017. The manga is being distributed by BookWalker online.
