Netflix has finally confirmed a premiere date for Virgin River Season 5, while also revealing that the new episodes will be released in two parts. This is a first for the romantic drama, starring Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson.
It was previously announced that the next chapter of the series based on Robyn Carr's novels would be released in Fall 2023, and today, Netflix has revealed that Part One of Virgin River Season 5 will be released in just over a month's time on September 7, 2023.
The first part will consist of 10 episodes, while Part Two will consist of two special holiday episodes that will be released just in time for the holidays on November 30.

Netflix recently dropped a bunch of first-look photos from Virgin River Season 5, which tease a destructive fire and more drama - especially in the big baby father reveal in the finale of Season 4. The new episodes will feature "surprising new relationships", a tough court trial, a shocking break-up, and a wildfire that threatens Virgin River.
The synopsis also teases:
Virgin River's regular cast also includes Annette O’Toole, Colin Lawrence, Tim Matheson, Kandyse McClure, Sarah Dugdale, Marco Grazzini, Mark Ghanimé, and Kai Bradbury.
Additional cast includes Lauren Hammersley, Teryl Rothery, Emma Oliver, Michelle Addison, Miranda Edwards, Stacey Farber, Jenny Cooper, Lucia Walters, Steve Bacic, Libby Osler, Keith MacKechnie, Barbara Pollard, Trevor Lerner, Nicola Cavendish, Gwynyth Walsh, Christina Jastrzembska, Ellie Harvie, Darcy Laurie, Sandy Robson, Lexa Doig, Chase Petriw, and Gabrielle Jacinto.
Back in May, Netflix renewed Virgin River for a sixth season, and at this point, it's still unclear how many seasons the romantic drama will run before wrapping up the story.
