The Hargreeves siblings are preparing for their final adventure in The Umbrella Academy Season 4. After Reginald’s kids lost their powers in the previous season, thanks to the new timeline their father dictated, it has been a big question as to how they will take on the enemies and if they will ever have them back. Though the answer lies in the yet-to-be-released fourth and final season, its official trailer teases the return of their superpowers.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 trailer starts with Ben receiving a phone call from Viktor warning him that he’s on pace to end the world in 48 hours, but Reginald chimes in to correct him that the catastrophe will begin in a day. As My Chemical Romance’s The End starts playing in the background, teasing the series' conclusion, the siblings start their journey together.
An unseen man tells the crowd that their world is a “big phony-baloney lie” while showing them images on the screen. The new characters, Drs. Jean and Gene Thibedeau then appear and seem to be behind this scheme. Gene tells Jean that the “tentacle boy,” referring to Ben, is the key to “understanding all the timelines,” as Ben’s arm is seen burning on its own.
As Number Five and Lila Pitts ride the train together, they end up in a ruined world. Hinting at the return of the siblings’ powers, Ben’s tentacles show up. Number Five then asks his siblings how Ben died. Allison and Luther answer him together, saying he died because “they failed as a team.” Reginald then sends them to another world, where the action begins.
Reginald warns them it’s time to face the “inevitable” as Klaus digs a grave. Viktor also unleashes his powers as flames burst from his hands. Allison is also seen sending a man flying backward after her eyes glow. Luther protects Allison, Number Five, and Viktor from gunshots, hinting that something may happen to him.
