What is The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases about?
The story of The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases is set in a world where powerful "blessings and gifts from the gods" are bestowed to those who have reached adulthood, and the "gifts" an individual receives will determine his life. However, Allen was not able to acquire any power, so he gets ridiculed, and eventually exiled from his home. Allen decides to live peacefully in a remote island, but what unbeknownst to people, he has memories (and powers) of his past life as a hero.
J-Novel Club, which licensed the light novel series and manga in English, shared a plot description for The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases:
The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases anime will premiere in April on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo, and will stream on Anime Hōdai and U-NEXT.
