South Town's newest challenger is bringing the lightning. SNK has pulled back the curtain on the final mystery fighter for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves' Season 3 DLC lineup — and she's crossing over from one of fighting games' biggest franchises.

In a press release out of Osaka, SNK announced that Reina — the "Purple Lightning" from Bandai Namco's TEKKEN 8 — will join Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a Season 3 DLC fighter, arriving in December 2026. Her reveal completes the season's seven-fighter lineup, which SNK has been building around its "Destined for Revenge" theme. "Wolves of South Town, I've been waiting for this moment!" the company teased alongside the announcement.

Reina debuted in TEKKEN 8 as a new-generation character and quickly became a fan favorite worldwide. The mysterious Mishima Polytechnical School student hides overwhelming power and ruthlessness behind a cheerful smile, and SNK says her signature fast-paced, aggressive TEKKEN fighting style has been blended with City of the Wolves' REV System to create a fresh playstyle that draws on the best of both series. Kate Clarke voices Reina in English, with Asami Seto handling the Japanese performance.

She lands as the previously secret December character, rounding out a stacked Season 3 roster. The lineup opens with returning fan favorites Rick Strowd, Duck King, and Kim Kaphwan, continues with Tokyo Revengers guests Manjiro "Mikey" Sano and Ken "Draken" Ryuguji in October, and brings in Laocorn from Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture in November before Reina closes out the season. The crossover also completes a circle between the two franchises: in TEKKEN 7, Fatal Fury's own Geese Howard joined the roster as a guest fighter, and Reina's arrival now returns the favor.

Reina arrives as part of Season Pass 3, priced at $19.99, which bundles all seven fighters along with new stages and additional content. SNK is also packaging the full arc in its Revenge Edition at $49.99, covering the base game with Season Passes 1 through 3. Individual DLC characters are also sold separately at $4.99 each. Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched April 24, 2025 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, with a Nintendo Switch 2 edition arriving October 22, 2026.
