Clone Force 99 is about to fulfill their mission to save Omega on Mount Tantiss while the young clone plots her escape from the Imperial science lab. As the culmination of this mission will be seen in the upcoming Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 3 Episode 15, titled The Cavalry Has Arrived, it looks like the finale spells bad for the group, especially after executive producer Jennifer Corbett drops a cryptic tease about it.

The Bad Batch Season 3 only has one episode left before it officially concludes. The Empire has once again captured Omega, and Crosshair, Wrecker, and Hunter make their way to find her. But as things are more dangerous for Nala Se’s medical assistant and her brothers due to Omega’s importance to Dr. Royce Hemlock and Emperor Palpatine’s Project Necromancer, Corbett hinted at what might happen in the final episode in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

“Couldn't decide between a cryptic tweet or a tease from the script, so for #TheBadBatch finale you get both: ‘Plan 99,’” she wrote.

Though Corbett didn’t give anything away, it looks like something bad is about to happen to Clone Force 99 with the mention of “Plan 99.” However, as her post was accompanied by a GIF image of a dragon suddenly opening its eyes from HBO’s Game of Thrones, it has led to several theories, with some saying it could refer to Tech or the Zillo Beast being mind-controlled.

What does Plan 99 mean in Star Wars: The Bad Batch?

Plan 99 is a pre-determined code phrase that Clone Force 99 created. This means a member has to sacrifice himself to save the squad in case their safety has been put at risk. Tech had executed this plan when he seemingly died in The Bad Batch Season 2 finale, which itself was titled Plan 99.

So, as Omega has remained in captivity by the Empire and Clone Force 99 will do everything to save her, Corbett’s post seems to hint at a tragic event about to unfold. Though what will happen next remains a mystery, viewers should prepare themselves for a possible emotional final episode.
