Being a part of the Star Wars Universe is a huge opportunity for any actor and that's exactly what happened to Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Luckily for the Kate actor, she got some great advice from someone who already knows what it's like to work in the franchise. Winstead revealed that she got tips from Obi-Wan Kenobi himself.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been playing the live-action version of Hera Syndulla in Ahsoka. It's a huge role considering that the character was initially introduced in Star Wars Rebels and becomes a major part of the Rebel Alliance in the franchise. However, Winstead didn't succumb to the pressure because she was given advice by her own husband and Obi-Wan Kenobi actor Ewan McGregor.
During this year's Star Wars Celebration, Winstead revealed during an interview with Screen Rant Plus that McGregor simply told her to have fun while working on Ahsoka.
“I mean, I don’t know that he gave me any advice necessarily other than to just enjoy it," she said. "He just told me about what a special experience it is to get to be a part of something that means so much to so many people, and that already is proving true just from being here today.”
It certainly makes sense and it's probably the best advice one can receive when joining such a huge franchise since overanalyzing could just lead to disaster. Luckily, it's clear that Winstead had fun working on Ahsoka and it shows in her portrayal of Hera.
What Happens to Hera in Ahsoka?
Hera has already proven that she is eager to locate and bring back Ezra Bridger. However, it seems like there are too many obstacles stopping her and the Ghost crew from fulfilling their mission. For now, Hera will need to focus on finding Ahsoka, and hopefully, Sabine Wren, who had joined Morgan Elsbeth in hopes of reuniting with Ezra.

She might not find Sabine so easily, but there's a huge chance that Hera and her remaining companions will land on Seatos and search for Ahsoka. Hopefully, they will be able to get her back from the World Between Worlds before it's too late. With that in mind, we can't wait to see what happens next on the Star Wars series.
The latest episode of Ahsoka is now streaming on Disney+. Episode 5 is currently scheduled to premiere on the streaming service on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
