Now, there's a speculation that the John Wick star is about to enter the galaxy far, far away and fans theorize that he will portray a character from the video games, Darth Revan. How true is this?
Bearing one of the never-changing faces in Hollywood is Keanu Reeves who is known for his roles in The Matrix, River's Edge, Speed, and the John Wick film franchise among others. As one of the biggest stars, Keanu Reeves being in another huge franchise would be a huge deal and should he be joining one with tons of famous names, his addition would be of great impact. Now that rumors are spreading around that he will join the Star Wars, the idea is not far from happening, in fact, it could already be in place.

Not YET, Keanu Reeves is not in Star Wars yet but there are rumors that the famed actor would be joining the franchise in the near future. In a news from Forbes, fan casts may actually be effective because one actor that has been long on the list could really be joining Star Wars. One of them is Keanu Reeves and people are speculating that if he would join, he would play Darth Revan, even having an art from @ultraraw26 with Keanu Reeves as the character from KOTOR.
It was revealed in July 2023 by Giant Freakin Robot that the John Wick actor is already in and that he already shot a cameo appearance for The Acolyte. As this news spread like wildfire, fans already made theories as to who Reeves would be playing in the upcoming Star Wars series. The same report mentions that Reeves will either join the Star Wars franchise in a project set in the Old Republic or the High Republic.
Who will Keanu Reeves play in Star Wars?
The galaxy far, far away has its fair share of characters that Reeves can portray but with the rumor mill going on, fan casting brings Reeves in the shoes of Darth Revan. For years, fans have been calling to Lucasfilm to cast Keanu Reeves as Darth Revan every time Old Republic is mentioned. While the alleged cameo of Reeves in Star Wars is on The Acolyte which is during the High Republic, Darth Revan could still appear in the upcoming series through a flashback or a Force vision.
Darth Revan is a main character in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic as a Jedi who shifted into the dark side in the middle of the Jedi and Mandalorian wars and eventually, he went back to the light side when Malek, his previous Padawan, defeated him. Revan played a pivotal role in both Jedi and Sith and he was known for being a powerful Force user. If he would appear in The Acolyte as a flashback, it would make more sense.
With the ever-evolving Star Wars narrative, Keanu Reeves could also be a new Jedi or another totally different character. Who knows? What's good is that he is bound to appear on The Acolyte!
