The galaxy far, far away shares a fortune with the amount of great characters in the lore, both heroes and villains, as the story grows each year for the past four decades. Being a one of the biggest media franchises in existence, Star Wars' collectibles are also present to memorialize the fan-favorites through figures. Hasbro's Star Wars: The Black Series now includes an iconic character from the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Starkiller with Galen Marek joining the line in 2024.
In a report from IGN, the amazing Force Unleashed figure of Hasbro is unveiled. Starkiller will be just like other Black Series figures with a height of six inches and its appearance is based on the character of Starkiller from the 2008 game. The figure boasts the iconic red lightsaber of the character. Hasbro has opened the pre-order of the figure via the Hasbro Pulse website last October 25, and it is currently priced at $24.99. When is Starkiller coming to live-action in Star Wars?
Born Galen Marek, Starkiller had been a prominent character in the 2008 Star Wars game. He is a force sensitive person who was brought in by Darth Vader after his parents died in the hands of the Galactic Empire. Vader shaped Marek into being his own apprentice and assassin, thus, being Starkiller. Vader left Marek for dead and the betrayal happened.
With Dave Filoni helming the current track of the Star Wars universe with various series, Filoni can add Starkiller in any of the upcoming Star Wars project about to arrive in the near future. Dave Filoni knows how to inject a character from Legends and make these roles canon to the narrative. Ahsoka could have been a great avenue but surely, there are other titles where Starkiller could appear in live-action.
The actor behind Starkiller, Sam Witwer, revealed in an interview with Will Diamond in Diamond Figs, some tease on the live-action debut of the character saying:
Starkiller may arrive sometime in the future in the live-action adaptations of the shows in the narrative. While there is no concrete announcement yet, his arrival could happen anytime between 2024 to 2026 or even more than that.
Pre-order the figure now via the Hasbro Pulse website at $24.99.
