One of the most intriguing visuals in the first season of Ahsoka are the statues of the Mortis Gods carved into the mountainside. After all, the visual led to questions about the absence of The Daughter, who represents the Light Side of the Force. Luckily, a new Star Wars fan art imagines how the Force entity would look when she finally makes her live-action debut in Ahsoka Season 2.

In the season finale of Ahsoka, Baylan Skoll's journey took him to a mountain that is carved with the images of the Mortis Gods who appear to be looking over a valley. Not surprisingly, fans were delighted by the image but also questioned the absence of the Daughter, whose head is visibly eroded away from the mountain.

Interestingly, the state of the Daughter's statue led to several theories about how her presence will be explained in Ahsoka Season 2. One fan decided to illustrate the Daughter's live-action debut once she finally returns in the Star Wars show.

Illustrated by X user Uzuri Art, the fan art shows the Daughter as she originally appeared in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. It's a gorgeous artwork that immediately hyped up the possibility of the Mortis Gods' arrival in the show.

Who is the Daughter and how is she connected to Ahsoka?

The Daughter was a Force goddess who made a significant sacrifice to protect Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars when Ahsoka, Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-Wan Kenobi ended up on Mortis. Her sacrifice is likely the reason why her statue on Peridea is damaged or broken.

But in an intriguing twist, Ahsoka now embodies what the Force goddess once represented, making her a living version of the Daughter. She is even accompanied by Morai, the Daughter's convor. The broken statue of the Daughter thus symbolizes her fate as depicted in The Clone Wars, while Ahsoka's presence on Peridea appears to be the key to its potential restoration.

Another connection to the Mortis Gods is the presence of Anakin's Force ghost in Peridea. Once dubbed the Chosen One, Anakin was brought to Mortis by the Father so the Jedi could take over his place as the entity that embodied the Balance in the Force. But why isn't the Father's statue eroded away if Anakin has finally replaced him? Perhaps we will learn the truth in Ahsoka Season 2.
