After Crunchyroll revealed its fall 2023 anime lineup, it confirmed it included the much-awaited Spy x Family Season 2. The streamer also unveiled a number of subs and dubs for the new season across the regions. And to complete the list, an English-subbed trailer is also revealed.

Based on Tatsuya Endo’s manga of the same name, Spy X Family tells the story of the spy, Loid, who has to build a family to complete his mission. Little did he know that the woman, Yor, he agrees to marry, is a skilled assassin, while the daughter, Anya, she adopts is a telepath, ending up having a spy family. With its great storytelling, comedy, and artwork, the series has become one of the best-selling manga. And with that, it has been adapted into a movie and TV anime, with Spy x Family Season 2 nearly coming.

According to Crunchyroll, Spy x Family Season 2 will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Aside from its original Japanese version, it will be dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Russian, and Arabic.

In addition, a few days after the anime released a new trailer for Spy x Family Season 2, Muse Asia dropped an English-subbed version of it. Thanks to this preview, international fans no longer have to go through the hassle of using YouTube’s auto-generated subtitles to understand the Japanese preview, especially since the lines sometimes don’t sync and fit. Here, the family goes on a mission, which starts with Loid and Yor going on a date.

What is Spy x Family Season 2 about?

The anime has yet to reveal the official synopsis of Spy x Family Season 2, but multiple reports claim it will adapt the Imperial Scholars Mixer Arc and Cruise Adventure Arc. And this might be true, considering the new season’s key visual features the Yor family in front of a ship, while Anya and her classmates are up ahead the Eden Academy.

So, in Imperial Scholars Mixer Arc, the ninth story arc, Damian meets his reclusive and distant father. But even though these two only rarely meet, Twilight tries to get between them.

On the other hand, the Cruise Adventure Arc, the tenth story arc, sees Yor on a new mission to protect one of the last remaining members of the Gretcher crime family, Olka, and her only son, Gram, while aboard the Princess Lorelie ship. This time, she has to face a group of skilled assassins who are after her clients. However, things will be more complicated after Anya and Loid win tickets to board the same ship. From there, Yor starts to doubt if she still wants to continue her work as an assassin.
