As fans eagerly anticipate the next installment of the Spider-Man saga, whether Andrew Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man 3 or Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 4, Sony Pictures has unveiled a nostalgic treat. The franchise’s entire collection of eight live-action movies featuring the iconic portrayals of the friendly neighborhood superhero by Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Tom Holland will again be gracing the big screen in celebration of 100 Years of Columbia Pictures. From April to June, every Monday will be a Spider-Monday, as these movies will be re-released in select theaters.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sony Pictures revealed the “amazing news” by dropping the Spider-Man eight-movie trailer. Of course, the franchise will never be complete without J.K. Simmons, playing his iconic role of J. Jonah Jameson, screaming, “I want Spider-Man!”
The preview features the team-up of the three Spider-Man actors in the 2021 Spider-Man: No Way Home. It also reveals the release dates of each movie, starting with Raimi’s critically acclaimed trilogy, followed by Marc Webb’s two The Amazing Spider-Man films, and Jon Watts’ three Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
