Spider-Man: No Way Home – The Art of the Movie won't be released until August, but a few excerpts are circulating online. In one of the interviews in the artbook, Andrew Garfield seemingly teased his future as the Friendly Neighborhood Wall-crawler amid the calls to continue The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
Garfield debuted as the second Spider-Man actor in the first The Amazing Spider-Man movie in 2012, following Tobey Maguire. He reprised his role in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014, and his future as the Webslinger seemed to end when the Marvel Cinematic Universe rebooted the franchise with Tom Holland in the lead until he returned in the crossover movie Spider-Man: No Way Home with Holland and Maguire.
In the upcoming concept art book excerpt (via Twitter), the Hacksaw Ridge star revealed "the story never ends" in his take on the character "whether we film it or not." "There's a story happening in a universe somewhere," he said.

Garfield hinted that his Peter Parker's return in No Way Home changed his character's life, leaving him "re-inspired" as a hero knowing he has brothers. Hence, his version of Spidey will be back "re-inspired" to follow his destiny and calling, which he called the character’s life purpose.
The 39-year-old even explained that his Spider-Man was reinvigorated after saving Mary Jane (Zendaya) from dying in No Way Home after falling atop the Statue of Liberty. If he didn't make it in the Holland movie, MJ might have suffered the same fate as Gwen (Emma Stone), a tragedy he tried to avoid in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 but failed to do so.

Will There be The Amazing Spider-Man 3?
Sony recently trolled fans in what many assumed was an official announcement of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 in a video post on TikTok. "you know the rules," the caption read.
The clip also started with the words, "Standby for an important announcement," which excited fans more. However, as the video continued to play, Rick Astley's hit song Never Gonna Give You Up started to play, and the announcement was that it had been 36 years since Sony Music released the iconic track.
As this broke many hopeful fans' hearts, Sony wrote, "sorry in advance," in the comment section. One follower claimed the studio now owns The Amazing Spider-Man 3 for playing with them.
It remains to be seen if Garfield will indeed return as Peter Parker or if Marvel Studios will produce The Amazing Spider-Man 3. Though its future is still hazy, fans will remain hopeful.
Spider-Man: Now Way Home -The Art of the Movie will be officially released on August 1. The art book features the movie's exclusive concept artwork and in-depth interviews with the cast and the creative team.
