Marvel and Hot Toys recently released a couple of high-quality images of Spider-Man's iconic Symbiote Suit in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The upcoming sequel has managed to become one of PlayStation 5's most-anticipated games. Spider-Man 1 quickly became a fan-favorite in no time, whereas Spider-Man: Miles Morales also received the same amount of excitement and love.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will feature the return of Kraven the Hunter as the game’s main antagonist. In addition to the hunter, the web-slinger will also go up against the Lizard, Wraith, Shocker, and more! What’s more dangerous than all of these antagonists is the monstrous Venom, who will go up against both Peter and Miles. However, before attaching to its eventual mystery host, the alien symbiote will spend a good amount of time with Peter Parker.
Best look at Spider-Man’s iconic symbiote suit
Both Hot Toys and Marvel recently revealed some more high-quality images of their upcoming 1/6 figure, which is based on Peter Parker’s Symbiote Suit in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
The iconic symbiote suit simply looks epic with its extraordinary style. In this new version of the outfit, an interesting, organic-type texture can be seen, which also includes the classic white spider symbol.
What’s more exciting is that the collectible will also include accessories so that Parker can shoot out his symbiote tendrils.
Hot Toys also mentioned in the listing how the symbiote suit “enhances Peter’s power” while also having a “clear physiological effect on [him].” You can read the entire statement below:
“This solid black suit enhances Peter’s power with unique abilities, but at the same time it has a clear physiological effect on Peter, altering his look, making him more aggresive, even against his friends like Miles.”
In this version, the character is also provided with brand-new robotic limbs. However, here, they will also be entangled with the Venom symbiote, similar to the rest of his suit.
This version of the symbiote suit will also include black web wings, which players will definitely see regularly when they’re busy navigating New York City.
A special edition of the symbiote suit will be available in “selected markets exclusively.” It will include an additional masked head that gives us a look at the symbiote beginning to take over Peter’s normal mask.
The Hot Toy figure will also include a stand, multiple hand switchouts, and newly designed symbiote web pieces.
The symbiote suit looks absolutely amazing and has turned out to be a big deal among fans. One can’t help but wonder when the suit will make its way into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, owing to Spider-Man: No Way Home’s mid-credits scene.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to release for PS5 on October 20, 2023.
