Years ago, Zack Snyder pitched a concept for his own Star Wars trilogy to Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy which was turned down. The director kept the concept and he made his own universe on Netflix starting with Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire as the first part of two movies. During its early preview, however, the film stirs mixed interviews as some found it fine but the others weren't so impressed by it.

Zack Snyder lands an epic space opera on Netflix with a two-part movie starting with Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire. It will follow Sofia Boutella's Kora, a former member of the Imperium who turned her back from it for redemption. She aims to gather various warriors from all around the galaxy to go up against the forces of Motherworld led by Balisarius, played by Ed Skrein. The movie banners a star-studded cast with Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Djimon Hounsou, Anthony Hopkins, among many others.

Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire got a world premiere event which includes a limited theatrical release for the movie on December 15 before the film goes live on Netflix. From the limited theatrical release, critics are now up on social media on how they find Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire but the overall look of it shows mixed reactions.
