It will follow Sofia Boutella's Kora, a former member of the Imperium who turned her back from it for redemption. She aims to gather various warriors from all around the galaxy to go up against the forces of Motherworld led by Balisarius, played by Ed Skrein. The movie banners a star-studded cast with Charlie Hunnam, Ray Fisher, Djimon Hounsou, Anthony Hopkins, among many others.

Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire got a world premiere event which includes a limited theatrical release for the movie on December 15 before the film goes live on Netflix.
