One Piece Stars Weigh in On Sanji vs Zoro: Who is Stronger?

The cast of the One Piece live-action series has clearly demonstrated the strong bond that developed during their time shooting as the Straw Hat Pirates. Still, this doesn't imply that every individual always saw eye to eye. Mackenyu and Taz Skylar have already proven that they are taking the iconic Zoro vs. Sanji rivalry in real life, and they are showing it off once again in a hilarious new video.

For those who have been following the One Piece manga or anime (and major kudos for staying dedicated throughout), you're undoubtedly familiar with the ongoing rivalry between Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji. While they initially fostered a respectable relationship when the Straw Hat Pirates initially united, Zoro and Sanji eventually found themselves in a feud, which isn't entirely unexpected when two dominant personalities share close quarters on a ship.

As it turns out, the same can be said about Mackenyu and Taz Skylar, who can't help but compete with each other. The actors, who play Zoro and Sanji, respectively, in the live-action Netflix series, have once again proven that they can't help but get into a little competition with each other whenever they can. In a new interview ahead of the One Piece series premiere, the two answered the question "Who is stronger, Sanji or Zoro?" and their response couldn't be more perfect.

Skylar was quick to say that, "I don’t need any external weapon." In response, Mackenyu pointed out, "Look at the bounty." It's a hilarious exchange considering that Sanji's strength is in his legs while Zoro has a higher bounty than the cook. Either way, we're loving how both actors have completely embraced their roles as the Straw Hats crew members.
