After a bittersweet finale of the Wano Country Arc, seeing Luffy and the Straw Hats saying goodbye to other major characters, like Momonosuke, the anime has released a teaser for the upcoming One Piece Episode 1086. Titled A New Emperor! Buggy the Star Clown! it will set the stage for the beginning of the Egghead Arc next year, and the preview gives a glimpse of the Cross Guild as Buggy has now become one of the new Four Emperors of the Sea. The upcoming One Piece Episode 1086 preview begins with Buggy showing his full, colorful glory, as Mihawk and Crocodile appear on his two sides, completing their group Cross Guild. Crocodile’s bounty, now at 1.965 billion Belly, is then revealed. This reward is even higher than that of Zoro and Jinbei despite their big achievement at Wano.
As a montage of scenes starts to play, Nami can be seen pulling Luffy’s cheek as he seems to be inside a cage with a swollen face. Chopper and Usopp then appear, looking afraid as they hide behind a barrel. Later, Usopp holds a mysterious bounty poster and is surprised after looking at it. And by the looks of it, it’s Buggy’s bounty, which is believed to be on par with Luffy now that he’s a Yonko himself.
What to expect from One Piece Episode 1086?
Based on Eiichiro Oda’s manga of the same name, One Piece follows the adventures of Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they go on a journey to the Grand Line to find the mythical treasure called One Piece and be the next Pirate King. Toei Animation adapted the series into an anime, starting in 1999 and becoming one of the longest-running anime with over a thousand episodes.
In One Piece Episode 1086, Buggy is introduced as one of the new Emperors of the Sea, also considered the mastermind behind the infamous Impel Down prison break. His alliance with two of the strongest characters in the series, Crocodile and Mihawk, poses a great danger for Luffy and his crew, especially now that he has taken them under his control. He also takes command of their new organization, Cross Guild, making him recognized as one of the Four Emperors by the World Government.
