One Piece has cemented its name in different kinds of releases since 1997 and it continues to prove how influential the Straw Hat crew is. Manga and anime readers followed the narrative religiously and with Netflix bringing the live-action adaptation of the title, the streaming platform, clearly, did not disappoint, and in turn, One Piece broke the live-action anime curse in Hollywood. Netflix brought a faithful version of One Piece into live-action and it has become a success that the series has been given a green light for another adventure.

When is the release date of One Piece Season 2?
To date, there is still no release date given for One Piece Season 2 but the great news is that it has been given a green light to set sail once more. The announcement was made by none other than the creator of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda, who thanked the fans for their patronage and support to the Straw Hat crew. Oda also drew Chopper, teasing the arrival of the character as One Piece Season 2 dives into the next arc, the Arabasta Saga.
Following the end of the WGA strike with a negotiated new contract with AMPTP, the writers of One Piece can now proceed to making magic for Season 2. Since One Piece Season 2 is still in its pre-production stage where the writers are still formulating the next amazing adventure of the Straw Hat crew, the possible release date of One Piece Season 2 could be around late 2024 to early 2025.
