Fans expect to see Castlevania: Nocturne on its official release date of September 28 on Netflix. However, the service is now streaming the new anime series’ first three episodes, but not on TV. The streamer is currently holding its first-ever virtual showcase, DROP 01, featuring an early screening of the classic animated series’ spinoff.

DROP 01 is a 90-minute event that celebrates the best of Netflix’s genre animation series. Hence, aside from Castlevania: Nocturne, it also features other anime titles, like Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, Blue Eye Samurai, Masters of the Universe: Revolution, and more. There are surprise announcements and other never-before-seen sneak peeks happening here.

But amongst them all, many are looking forward to meeting the new Castlevania: Nocturne protagonist, Richter Belmont, a descendant of the series’ iconic heroes Trevor Belmont and Sypha. Fortunately, Netflix feels generous enough to give the awaiting fans a jumpstart on this latest Castlevania story.

Aside from Richter, the early screening introduces the unlikely crew who will fight with him against the incoming big threat, Vampire Messiah. As they’re about to join forces, bringing their shape-shifting powers to the forefront, not even the monsters in the series can stop them from saving humanity.

You can watch DROP O1 in the video below:

However, Annette won’t let it happen and asks for Richter’s help, knowing he’s the last descendant of the famous vampire hunter family. With his arrival, he’s about to lead the resistance.
