After a one-week break due to the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics, My Hero Academia Season 7 is back. The anime will continue the fight against Shigaraki after Bakugo gives all he has and unleashes his ultimate Cluster attack with the little strength left in his body. Considered one of the series’ most dramatic moments, the preview for the upcoming Episode 12, titled Those Who Defend, Those Who Violate, teases Bakugo’s fate. Not only that but after Shoto seemingly defeats his brother, Dabi will make his epic return.

As released by the anime’s official website, the trailer for My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 starts intriguing as Monoma tears up. The next scene features Best Jeanist looking at Bakugo, lying unconscious on the ground. Aizawa looks horrified after seeing the events inside UA’s Coffin in the Sky, while Shigaraki continuously shows his unbeatable strength and great fighting skills.
The preview then shifts to Shoto and the group of heroes he is with. By the looks of it, the fight against Dabi will continue despite Shoto’s belief that he has defeated his brother. Dabi looks stronger than ever as he unleashes blue flame again to continue the battle. Deku then takes the scene as he rushes to face Shigaraki. Endeavor and Hawks also appear, hinting at continuing their battle against All For One.
On the other hand, the preview stills for My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 show Masaki, Monoma, and Aizawa appear surprised after witnessing Bakugo being struck down by Shigaraki. Best Jeanist is left with nothing to do as he looks at Bakugo’s unconscious body on the ground. Mirio is furious after what happened to Bakugo as Shigaraki looms behind him.
Shigaraki has caught Mirko as he holds her upside down. After being defeated, Tenya and Shoto look surprised after seeing Dabi back on his feet. Hawks and Endeavor are ready to face All For One again in the sky. For the last still, a bleeding Edgeshot looks disappointed after Shigaraki puts Bakugo down.

What to Expect from My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12
My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 will pick up where the previous episode left off. It will show the aftermath of Bakugo’s battle against Shigaraki, leading to his death. However, the villain shows no remorse and even blames the other heroes for leaving him with no choice but to kill Bakugo. He won’t even stop there and will pick his next target. The new episode will also feature the fight of Hawks and Endeavor against All For One and the return of Dabi after everyone believes that he has already been defeated.

The anime is based on Kohei Horikoshi’s manga of the same title, which has collected 40 tankobon volumes and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide as of April 2024 after its serialization in July 2014. Its huge success has led to the spawning of a media franchise, with numerous spin-off manga, light novels, stage plays, and different types of media and merchandise, including video games.
Of course, it has also been adapted into anime by studio Bones, with the first season released in April 2016, followed by the second season in April 2017, the third season in April 2018, the fourth season in October 2019, the fifth season in March 2021, and the sixth season in October 2022. It also has three animated movies, the fourth film, My Hero Academia: You’re Next, coming on August 2, and nine original video animations (OVA).
