The Marvels actress recently revealed the villain she would like her character to go up against for Ms. Marvel Season 2 if it ever happened. Although the news of the Disney+ series hasn’t been confirmed yet, Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan seems to be a fan favorite in The Marvels. The superhero has fought against Dar-Benn, the Clandestines, and the Department of Damage Control so far.
Now, the only question that has been bothering fans is who will be the next villain to face Kamala Khan. During an interview with The Direct, Iman Vellani talked about the villain she hopes would appear in a hypothetical Ms. Marvel Season 2. When asked the question, Vellani quickly said, “Doc.X,” and claimed that it was someone she felt would “really resonate with the Gen Z audience:
In the comic books, Doc.X is an artificial intelligence and sentient computer virus that ends up coming in contact with Kamala Khan via her online gaming. Eventually, the villain begins blackmailing Ms. Marvel into doing what it wishes.

Would Doc.X be a suitable fit for Ms.Marvel Season 2?
Watching Marvel Studios implement Doc.X, an AI and challenging computer virus, in a unique way would surely be one fantastic sight. Even though it would fit quite well for the Gen Z audience, as Iman Vellani highlighted, it wouldn’t be the first time an evil AI shows up in the MCU. It might be some side shoot of Ultron, offering fans an exciting connection and giving the AI an established plan to work with.
One more angle could be that it’s an AI that’s greatly inspired by Ultron and his short time in the world, and so it will do anything in its power to bring him back to life. Some other possible options for Ms. Marvel Season 2 villains might be the crazy human/cockatiel hybrid called The Inventor, Stormranger, Kaboom, and many more. On top of this, a Variant of Kang the Conqueror also has quite a history with Kamala Khan, so that particular storyline can also explored.
However, before any of this happens, the series’ Season 2 should get a green light, the odds of which happening don’t look that good after The Marvels’ performance. Nevertheless, fans should still keep their hopes high when it comes to Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel.
The Marvels is currently playing worldwide in theatres, and Ms. Marvel Season 1 can be streamed on Disney+.
