Loki Season 2 is finally here and we finally learned what has been happening to the God of Mischief since Sylvie sent him back to the TVA. And although it looked like Loki and Mobius were in trouble, the premiere also gave fans what they had been looking forward to: Ke Huy Quan's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut. Not surprisingly, viewers can't help but gush about the new character.
In the second season of Loki, the story wastes no time in picking up where it left off. Following Sylvie's actions that sent Loki back to the TVA and led to the demise of He Who Remains, the God of Mischief finds himself trapped in an unending cycle of "time-slipping." This phenomenon continuously drags him through different moments in the past, present, and future.
Initially pursued by Mobius and his team, Loki eventually manages to return to the familiar confines of the TVA. There, he urgently warns of the looming threats of "malevolence and violence" unless they can find a way to stabilize the Sacred Timeline. Concerned for Loki's predicament, Mobius prioritizes resolving his time-slipping issue and decides to seek assistance from Ke Huy Quan's character Ouroboros aka OB, a repairman skilled in handling temporal anomalies.
From the first moment he appears onscreen, it's clear that OB isn't like the other TVA agents. It didn't take long before fans began gushing about the character's enigmatic debut that only promised even greater things in the future.
The swift pacing and immediate immersion into the storyline promise an exciting continuation of the time-twisting adventures that have become a hallmark of Loki. With the fate of the Sacred Timeline hanging in the balance, the God of Mischief's journey in the second season is poised to deliver more thrilling twists and challenges. With that in mind, we can't wait to see what OB, Loki, and Mobius will be up to in the next episode.
Loki Season 2 Episode 2 has not yet been given an official title. Still, the next episode is already set to premiere on Disney+ on October 12, 2023.
