Thor: Love and Thunder may have missed the mark for some of the fans and audiences but it brings forth a pivotal narrative about Jane Forster who finally got the taste of what it feels like to be a hero in the said movie. Jane Foster suited up as Mighty Thor, but with a great cost to her life. Played by Natalie Portman since her MCU debut in the 2011 Thor, the actress confirms that she has an actual Thor hammer, the Mjolnir, that she keeps at home.
Thor currently holds an impeccable record in the MCU as the only Avenger and hero to have more than a trilogy of movies and the hero is seemingly breaking his own record of having four movies with a Thor 5 reportedly under development. While his last hero outing may have missed the mark, Thor: Love and Thunder was a special film as it was the debut of Jane Foster in her new role as Mighty Thor who wields the Mjolnir, having been deemed worthy of the power of Thor. In a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live (see the clip below), Natalie Portman was asked by Jimmy Kimmel whether she has a Thor hammer, Portman said:
Natalie Portman revealed that her kids are aware about her having a Mjolnir at home which she could actually use to defend her home because surely, she must have learned a move or two during her time as Mighty Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder. While it is unlikely that the Mjolnir she has flies in real life, it is still cool to own such a memorabilia.

Thor: Love and Thunder featured the journey of Jane Foster through being the Mighty Thor, a superhero of her own and more than just the female version of Thor. Jane Foster was struck with a tragedy as she learned of having cancer. When the children of Asgard was kidnapped by Gorr, Thor was not the first one to respond as the Mjolnir found someone else worthy of its power -- cancer-ridden Jane Foster. Jane rocks being Mighty Thor but her being a hero came with a great exchange, every time she transforms into the Mighty Thor, her physical body deteriorates once she no longer wields its power, as if the Mjolnir draws life from Jane when she uses it.
Fighting Gorr who did everything just to bring his child back to life, Jane became the Mighty Thor one last time as her human body could no longer handle the powers of an Asgardian god. In the post-credits scene of Thor: Love and Thunder, Jane was confirmed to have reached the status of being an Asgardian deity as she made it to Valhalla where Heimdall welcomed her in the Norse version of heaven.
Thor: Love and Thunder is available to stream on Disney Plus.
