Loki Season 2 will finally be released in about a week, and Marvel Entertainment is already hyping up the series by dropping new promotional stints here and there. And the latest is a new trailer that sees the God of Mischief’s journey through the years as he’s about to begin a new adventure.
After over two years since the first season ended, Loki is back in the Time Variance Authority, the organization that used to keep the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe in a single timeline. However, everything changed at the end of the premiere season, so The Prince of Lies returns to stop the multiverse from branching out in Loki Season 2.
And to give fans a glimpse of what’s happening behind the scenes, Marvel Entertainment released a new trailer that sees Tom Hiddleston as he takes the role of Loki through the years. The preview starts with the actor talking about his character’s costume, which makes him feel enormously powerful whenever he wears it.
In the next scene, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige discusses Son of Odin’s legacy, being in the Marvel movies for over a decade already. Since then, he has won fans’ hearts and become one of the most beloved characters. What is Loki Season 2 about?
Loki Season 2 will pick up where the previous season finale left off. Loki will work with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and other TVA members to go around the multiverse to find Sylvie, Ravonna Renslayer, and Miss Minutes. He, too, will be fighting for TVA’s existence as he’s about to learn the real meaning of having his own free will and glorious purpose.

When is the release date of Loki Season 2?
Just like Ahsoka, Loki Season 2 has seen a major schedule change. From Friday releases, the new season will now be released every Thursday at 6 PM PT/9 PM ET, starting on October 5 on Disney+.
