It's almost time for the return of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 and we finally have the new trailer for the second cour. The teaser for the Shibuya Incident story arc finally brings back the major players in the manga's main storyline as well as some new ones. In addition to that, we finally got a sneak preview of the second cour's opening theme!

As promised, the new Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 trailer was dropped on time today. It opens with sweeping scenes of Shibuya before the action finally drops as Suguru Geto makes his comeback. The scenes are only hinted at as we see brief glimpses at the major players from Tokyo Jujutsu High School as well as the Cursed Spirits they will be facing.

It's an action-packed trailer as we see a lot of familiar faces along with new ones who have yet to make their debut in the anime. The teaser also confirms that there are more major fights ahead and we get a glimpse at Ryomen Sukuna's fiery return in the end. Moreover, we got to listen to the new opening theme SPECIALZ by King Gnu, which would serve as the third track they have contributed to the franchise (the band previously provided the opening and closing themes for Jujutsu Kaisen 0).

The trailer is already awesome enough on its own but Jujutsu Kaisen isn't slowing down. In addition to the teaser, the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account dropped the first key visual for the Shibuya Incident arc. Check it out below.

We're loving the new updates on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. However, fans will need to wait another week to see the sorcerers face off against the Curse Users. Needless to say, next Thursday can't come soon enough.
