The Shibuya Incident arc is finally here and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has officially released the opening and closing themes for its second cour. We've already heard the dynamic opening song by King GNU but the new ending theme is a bright surprise.

We already got a preview of King GNU's SPECIALZ in the official teaser for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2's second cour. However, the anime's official X (formerly Twitter) account dropped a credit-less version of the opening sequence that teases the action in the Shibuya Incident arc. In addition to that, it was confirmed that the new ending theme is the song more than words by Hitsujibungaku (or Hitsuji Bungaku).

Both themes are fitting in their own way but they have contrasting vibes, as this has been an ongoing tradition for the anime. While SPECIALZ is a hard-hitting track that represents the conflict between the sorcerers and Curse Users, more than words is bright and carefree, representing the main trio's easygoing relationship. Needless to say, Jujutsu Kaisen once again nailed the opening and closing sequences.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 6 premiered today and just like its new themes, the first episode of the Shibuya Incident arc had major contrasts. The first half follows Nobara Kugisaki as she meets Yuko Ozawa, a girl from Yuji Itadori's past. Their interactions reminded viewers that the main trio are still teenagers dealing with regular everyday nuances.

On the other hand, things got tense in the latter half as it was revealed that Kokichi Muta, who controls Mechamaru, was the mole who allowed Mahito to infiltrate the high school during the sister event. Still, Muta has an ulterior motive and isn't about to let the Curse Users win that easily.

Where to watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 7

The second episode of the second cour will be broadcast in Japan's MBS and TBS Networks. For international fans, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 7 will be exclusively available to stream on Crunchyroll in North America. It will also be available for streaming on Netflix and Amazon Prime in Asia.
