Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 4 is finally here and it's possibly the anime's most exciting episode to date. In the previous episode, Toji Fushiguro did the unthinkable by defeating the world's strongest sorcerer in the present time. However, Satoru Gojo made it clear that the fight isn't over as he gets ready for the anime's biggest rematch to date. Additionally, Hidden Inventory 4 dropped the second season's first post-credits scene.
In Episode 3, Toji Fushiguro engaged Satoru Gojo in a fight despite being a non-curse user. As it turns out, the complete lack of cursed energy worked to Fushiguro's advantage as he managed to trick Gojo into using cursed techniques then nullifying them with the Inverted Spear of Heaven. He then uses the cursed weapon to slice Gojo's torso almost in half and leaving him for dead.
But as it turns out, Gojo didn't die from his injuries. After Fushiguro defeats Suguru Geto and delivers Riko Amanai's corpse to the Time Vessel Association, the revived Gojo confronts him. As it turns out, Gojo used the reverse curse technique to revive himself and begins deliriously explaining it to Fushiguro, who draws out the Inverted Spear of Heaven and declares that the fight isn't over.
Now that he has awakened Limitless, Gojo uses it to unleash Cursed Technique Reversal: Red. Although it hits Fushiguro, he manages to survive and calls Gojo a monster. At this point, Fushiguro begins using techniques only known to the Zenin clan but Gojo is determined to apologize to Amanai by defeating the Sorcerer Killer who has given in to his pride. Combining Red and Blue, Gojo unleashed Hollow Purple for the first time and effectively decimated Fushiguro's entire left side.
As Fushiguro faces death, he remembers the woman who is also the mother of his son Megumi Fushiguro. When asked by Gojo for his last words, Fushiguro reveals that his son will be sold off to the Zenin clan in a few years and tells him to do what he will.
So ends the biggest rematch of Jujutsu Kaisen but the episode is far from over. After the credits, it is confirmed that Suguru Geto survived his fight against Fushiguro and has been looking for the Star Religious Group. When he does find them, he sees them applauding Amanai's death as Gojo carries the girl's corpse away.
Although Geto considers killing the group, he decides against it since there needs to be a reason for jujutsu sorcerers to kill. However, it's clear that the actions are weighing heavily on Geto.
