In a whole year filled with epic releases, only Rockstar Games has the power to grab gamers' attention. They have managed to make GTA 6’s trailer debut one of the most highly anticipated events in the gaming industry, with every player now waiting to see what the game has in store for them.

Rockstar Games has officially announced that GTA 6’s reveal trailer will launch on Tuesday, December 5 at 9 a.m. ET. Fans can watch the much-anticipated trailer on Rockstar’s official YouTube channel since the same was true with GTA 5’s debut trailer. Not only this, but the YouTube premiere page is actually live now, and the countdown on it has officially begun!

On top of this, the premiere page also confirms that the trailer is going to be one minute and 31 seconds long. In November, Rockstar Games revealed in their Newswire post that it planned on sharing the first official look at Grand Theft Auto 6 at some point in early December. The President of Rockstar Games, Sam Houser, wrote:

Thanks to the incredible support of our players worldwide, we have had the opportunity to create games we are truly passionate about — without you, none of this would be possible, and we are so grateful to all of you for sharing this journey with us. In 1998, Rockstar Games was founded on the idea that video games could come to be as essential to culture as any other form of entertainment, and we hope that we have created games you love in our efforts to be part of that evolution.

When is GTA 6 expected to come out?

In February 2022, Rockstar Games officially confirmed that GTA 6 was in development. However, they went completely radio silent after that, leaving fans to rely on leaks and rumors to find out when the game might come out. In an earnings call held by Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, it was hinted that GTA 6 might launch during its fiscal year 25, meaning sometime between April 2024 and May 2025.

Some rumors claim that GTA 6 might not be released in 2024, with a reputable GTA insider called Tez2 indicating that the game might come out in 2025. He claimed, “Several devs expect the release window in 2025. A spring release is what’s expected. But Rockstar aimed for a Spring release for both GTAV & RDR2 in the past that was eventually delayed to a Fall release.”

Furthermore, Rockstar Universe, a popular and reliable account that reveals everything Rockstar-related, also claimed that GTA 6 will reportedly come out in 2025. Unfortunately, when it comes to Grand Theft Auto 6’s release date, nothing has been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, so none of these rumors and leaks should be taken seriously. However, we do hope that GTA 6's trailer might reveal the game’s release window at least.
