Today marks the beginning of what GTA 6 fans consider to be an important week, as many rumors suggest that the upcoming Grand Theft Auto game will be revealed on 26 October. The day is only a few days away, and so far we have nothing on our hands. Since that rumor, a lot of other insiders came up on social media claiming that the announcement would come “soon.”
Rockstar Games also used that time to tease the fans by posting a photo of the popular Vinewood sign, in which just the letters 'VI' are clearly visible. On top of this, the developers also secretly updated the company’s logo a couple of days ago, leading to many speculations and theories from the GTA community.
The leaks and rumors have given players a pretty good idea of what they might expect from the upcoming GTA 6 video game. Now the latest rumor suggests that the supposed GTA 6 “trailer” has leaked online prior to the game’s official reveal. Instead of sharing the actual trailer, a Reddit user has actually shared the description of the supposed trailer.
Unfortunately, this isn’t the first fan to share a description of what the potential GTA 6 trailer might look like through a post titled “Alleged Trailer Launch.” They revealed the duration of the trailer, the date it will be released, and some of the things it will feature, such as Vice City shots, buildings, and much more.
What does the alleged GTA 6 trailer look like?
The user FollowTheDamnLeakCJ states that his wife works at such a position in Rockstar Games that she was able to watch GTA 6’s trailer and later described it to them. According to the user, the trailer reportedly “opens without any music, just the sound of bugs and crickets and other nature, on a shot of a gator in what looked like the Everglades.”
Then, a plane flies over the gator before the trailer shifts completely to the Rockstar logo as That’s All by Genesis starts playing in the background. The trailer then starts showing some shots of Vice City’s nightlife, fascinating cars, and nightclubs, with the two rumored protagonists, Jason and Lucia, driving in a convertible past the beach.
Later on in the trailer, the pair reportedly holds up a convenience store leading to plenty of “fast action shots,” as well as a cop car crashing into a barricade and Jason riding on a jet ski. The trailer comes to an end with Jason stating, “This is crazy. What are you willing to lose?” and Lucia answers, “We’ve been through enough. We don’t have anything to lose.” So, what do you think? Is it real or fake?
What we can say for sure is that these are just rumors, and nothing has been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, so remember to take it with a pinch of salt. Considering the amount of detail, a lot of fans believe it’s fake, but we can’t say anything for sure.
GTA 6 is rumored to release between April 2024 and March 2025, as per the latest Take-Two Interactive earnings call.
