Rockstar Games has been keeping the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 game under wraps. GTA 6 has become one of the most anticipated games, with many players being forced to rely on leaks and speculations to get more information on the game and its gameplay. Last year, a working version of the upcoming game was leaked online, showing plenty of early clips as well as details about the game. Unfortunately, Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive did manage to delete those leaks.
Lately, these leaks have once again started showing up online, with Take-Two Interactive working hard to remove them. However, some of it is still online, including the gameplay footage of a police chase. It is to be noted that the footage shows an extremely early build of GTA 6 that might be a couple of years old and is much different from what the game looks like now. Furthermore, even though the footage below is available at the time of writing, Take-Two might have it removed by the time you view it.
Alongside the police chase that might appear in GTA 6’s story or side mission, the gameplay footage also gives us a look at the game’s female protagonist. Grand Theft Auto 6 is set to introduce two major protagonists, one male and the other female. Moreover, it was described that the two were inspired by the popular criminal partners Bonny and Clyde.
The footage was shared on Twitter by @RockstarGTAVl, in which the player can be seen getting pursued by the police. GTA 6’s police have been quite popular lately since it was recently reported that they might receive an upgrade in the upcoming game, giving them a more realistic feel and making them much more responsive and a real threat to the players.
The footage didn’t show these upgraded features of the cops since one police car just went off the road for no reason. However, it was exciting to see what police chases might look like in GTA 6. Although this footage is quite real, we aren’t really sure how GTA 6 looks now as compared to the early build seen in the footage and why the police are chasing the player. Is it a mission in the game or just a part of the testing? It seems like we’ll get the answer once the game actually releases since Rockstar Games is pretty tight-lipped about it.
According to Take-Two Interactive, Grand Theft Auto 6 is expected to release sometime in 2024 or 2025.
