GTA 6 fans think they might have found a copy of Vice City’s map in the game’s official key art, with a gamer taking it one level up by further analyzing this potential discovery. Since Rockstar started revealing information regarding its upcoming game, fans have been fixated on all GTA 6 details, and they just might be on to something.

The first GTA 6 trailer launch was an important event for the franchise’s fans, with the trailer receiving more than 150 million views at the time. The trailer quickly became one of the most-viewed games to be uploaded to YouTube and kickstarted tons of debate about GTA 6.

Regardless of the information featured in the trailer, fans are still stuck on the much-anticipated game’s official image and are trying to get as many details from it as possible. Recently, a fan called NikTekOfficial began analyzing the main topic among fans right now, which is whether the GTA 6 key art actually features the Vice City map or not.

This debate began some days ago when a couple of fans discovered a tiny poster on the picture’s right side and claimed that it was the map of Vice City. However, the user was the first to deeply investigate by upscaling the image, using a program to zoom in, and changing the background colors to improve the image’s visibility.

NikTekOfficial eventually found the poster and compared it to a leaked version of the Vice City map. He did find a few similarities between the two pictures. Although the user might have a solid lead on their hand, it’s difficult to say if the map actually represents GTA 6’s Vice City and its surrounding states, especially considering the fact that Rockstat hasn't revealed any official images of the region yet.

In an X post, user PainkillerH20 shared a series of photos zooming in on the promotional GTA 6 art of Lucia and Jason, noting that the map was hidden in plain sight.

“Rockstar Games is very clever. Apparently, the size of the GTA 6 map is in the official wallpaper for GTA6,” PainkillerH20 said. “If you zoom in you will see a very pixelated map and if this is the size of GTA 6, it’s going to be very massive.”

Update: Here's an enhanced fan-made map based on the hidden map in the key art (via u/nikson_sharma):

What other locations might GTA 6 feature?

Unfortunately, Rockstar hasn’t officially confirmed any other locations besides Vice City (the devs' version of Miami) and its state, Leonida (Florida). However, many leaks and rumors do suggest that GTA 6’s map is going to be way bigger than all of Rockstar’s previous games and will feature a lot more locations. The map was leaked last year as part of the massive leak that took place, revealing 90 early footage videos of the game.

Those leaks suggested that the much-anticipated game will reportedly be much more massive than GTA 5 and all of the franchise’s previous games. Not only this, but a recent leak that came from Rockstar’s “office cleaner” suggests that GTA 6 will not only feature Vice City but will also explore other Central and South American regions. However, it’s important to note that these are only leaks and haven’t been officially confirmed yet, so one shouldn’t take them seriously.
