The gaming community has been anticipating the next trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA6), but fans will probably have to wait months until Rockstar Games launches it, but the latest revelations from a mysterious Redditor known as "Well_Look_Whos_Back" have created buzz recently. The leak suggests that GTA 6 is set to introduce new features that have made players more hyped for the game.
The leaked information shared on a Reddit post claims that GTA 6 is expected to surpass previously seen gameplay footage and incorporate several groundbreaking features that the Grand Theft Auto community will love. Among the features mentioned are dual-wielding, three stunning shades of sunset (orange, pink, and purple) to enhance the visual experience, and gore and dismemberment ability.
According to the leaker, carjacking in GTA 6 will be more challenging, as the promise of harder carjacking mechanics could make the gameplay more realistic. Additionally, the leak hints at a 3v3 basketball game mode that could potentially get basketball enthusiasts more excited.
Redditor "Well_Look_Whos_Back" remains a mysterious leaker who previously predicted the soundtrack used in the first GTA 6 trailer just days before it was released in December 2023. The anonymous figure is speculated to be a Rockstar Games developer sharing insider information or the same figure who leaked earlier gameplay footage.
Just like with any other leaks, fans should take this with a grain of salt. Although it's still unclear how much of the leaked details are true, it's reassuring to hear the post address earlier speculations that the leaked gameplay footage was from an older build, so we can expect the final product to exceed expectations.
GTA 6 Mapping Project Update
Earlier this month, the GTA 6 mapping project led by DuPz0r released the latest update (v 0.042), which reveals the speculated map of the game. As you can see below, the update added details to the northern part of the map, which still remains a mystery, but we know that this appears to be faithful to Florida, the state that Leonida is based on. If this is accurate, we can expect GTA 6's map to be more than twice the size of GTA 5's map.

Since this is an unofficial concept map and not officially confirmed by Rockstar Games, we shouldn't expect this to be 100% accurate, but it's the closest visual we have based on the leaks.
GTA 6 is currently in development for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5
