Two weeks out from launch, Rockstar Games is letting the pictures do the talking. The studio opened a new Launch Gallery on the official Grand Theft Auto VI site today, dropping 39 new screenshots of GTA 6 in native 4K — the largest single batch of official images since the game's site relaunched.
Rockstar kept the announcement itself to a few lines, noting the game is "now officially only two weeks away" and inviting fans to enjoy "a stunning look at Vice City and beyond." The gallery carries no captions and no commentary. Every frame is left to speak for itself.
What the screenshots show is the full spread of Leonida. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos anchor the set, in shots that move from a bank robbery to a high-speed chase, while the supporting cast turns up across Vice City's nightclubs and neon streets. Other frames head out of the city entirely — a swamp camp, a reef below the waterline, and a sunset that might be the quietest image Rockstar has released from the game so far.
Every one of the 39 screenshots is in the gallery below:
You can also watch the full set roll by in the Reel on the GTA 6 News Source Facebook page, where all 39 screenshots play back to back in 4K."
The drop doubles as a flex of the game's visuals. All 39 images are native 3840 × 2160 stills, and the detail holds up under a close look: rain-slick roads, crowded club floors, and the kind of background clutter that has made every previous screenshot batch a scavenger hunt for fans. Nothing in the set shows raw gameplay systems — these are cinematic frames — but as a statement of how the finished game looks, it is a confident one.
It is also a deliberate change of pace from the road here. Rockstar's campaign has been tightly controlled since the site's relaunch, and the studio's last major reveals were the launch trailer in October and this week's pre-load details. A 39-image gallery, posted without explanation, is the studio opening the tap as the countdown enters its final stretch.
The gallery also arrives in the loudest week of the campaign so far. The October launch trailer has been running on television, billboards and bus wraps have gone up in cities around the world, and Miami — the real city behind Vice City — has wrapped its own landmarks in the game's branding. Through all of it, the screenshots are the piece fans can actually sit with, and they have been pored over frame by frame since the gallery opened.
Launch day brings one more drop from Rockstar: an official, printable cover art poster and a map of Leonida, both free to download from the site on release day. For a game whose map has been pieced together from leaks and trailer frames for years, an official map is its own event.
The countdown is short now. Pre-loading opens on November 10 for digital pre-orders, and GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S — or, as Rockstar signed off its post: "See you in Leonida on November 19."
