International fans can now celebrate as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End English dub is finally here! The anime has now revealed the series’ official English cast members and a new visual that introduces a new villainous group, Aura of the Guillotine.
Based on the manga of the same name illustrated by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, the anime is now gaining traction for its simple yet interesting story. That said, it’s no surprise that it received the 14th Manga Taishō and the New Creator Prize awards from the 25th annual Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. By September 2023, the manga had over 10 million copies in circulation, and a new anime by Madhouse was released in the same month.
Five episodes into Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, its English dub is now on its way to Crunchyroll, releasing today, October 13. Like its Japanese counterpart, the US premiere will release a two-hour special featuring its first four episodes.
The anime has also unveiled its new English dub cast members, which you can check below:
Mallorie Rodak as Frieren
Jill Harris as Fern
Christopher Guerrero as Eisen
Jason Douglas as Heiter
Clifford Chapin as Himmel
Jordan Dash Cruz as Stark
The English dub is directed by Jad Saxton, with Colleen Clinkenbeard as the producer. The staff also includes Macy Anne Johnson to work on the scripts.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End New Visual
Meanwhile, the anime’s official website has dropped a new visual for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, featuring the new villains Frieren, Fern, and Stark are about the face. Compared to the series’ previous visuals, which all look colorful and vibrant, this one appears tense, set in the middle of the night with a group of enemies around.
The still features the trio as they seem to prepare for a big fight while the new characters, Aura, Rugner, Linier, and Dorat, stand on their ground. The four are backed by a legion of what looks like their soldiers, who are also ready to fight. These villains will be introduced in the upcoming Episode 7.
The anime has also released the new voice actors who will play as the new four demons. You can check the list below:
Ayana Taketatsu as Aura
Junichi Suwabe as Lugner
Mainaka Iwami as Linie
Koki Osuzu as Dorat

New episodes of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End are released every Friday on Nippon Television and its other affiliated networks in Japan, Crunchyroll, and Muse Asia’s YouTube channel in select countries. By the looks of it, the anime is about to change with the coming of the four new villains, as the visual turns a once-colorful series dark.
