Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen Crossover Officially Confirmed in New Trailer

4 Jujutsu Kaisen characters are coming to Fortnite but fans will have to wait for Epic Games to reveal the other anime-inspired cosmetics.

Epic Games has officially confirmed another Fortnite crossover, with the company's popular battle royale game welcoming the iconic Jujutsu Kaisen characters to the Item Shop. The latest anime collaboration was confirmed in a teaser trailer released today, which featured four different characters who will be included in the Jujutsu Kaisen collection. However, they did not reveal the back blings, pickaxes, and other new cosmetics that will accompany these main skins.

The trailer shown below was only 19-seconds long, but it reveals the characters based on Gege Akatami's best-selling shonen manga series. From left to right, you can see Gojo, Megumi, Yuji, and Nobara all confirmed to be part of the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen crossover, each one of them donning their familiar outfits.

If you've been updated about Fortnite leaks about upcoming cosmetics, you probably already were expecting that Jujutsu Kaisen had a decent chance of having a crossover with Fortnite. Over the weekend, leaks revealed that another major anime crossover is coming, with one insider claiming that the next crossover would be with Jujutsu Kaisen. It's not surprising that the leaks turned out to be true.

When is Jujutsu Kaisen skins coming to Fortnite?

While Epic Games didn't reveal the rest of the cosmetics for the crossover, we do at least know when the new Jujutsu Kaisen skins will be available in Fortnite. Epic Games confirmed that the first of the Jujutsu Kaisen cosmetics will be released alongside the launch of the v25.30 update on August 8, 2023.

Just a few days ago, Fortnite got a collab with Futurama to coincide with the show's revival and the new season that just came out. The game also expanded The Terminator collection with the addition of Arnold Schwarzenegger's iconic T-800 skin. Fortnite also collaborated with other popular anime titles such as Naruto and Attack on Titan before.
