Fortnite is quite famous when it comes to collaborations with popular entertainment franchises. One such franchise is James Cameron’s The Terminator, which was among some of the most anticipated crossovers that took the Fortnite community by storm. Sarah O’Connor and the T-800, the two main characters from The Terminator franchise, were added to the game’s Item Shop as cosmetic skins.
Players could dress up as their favorite character from the franchise and unleash their inner warriors or machines on Fortnite Island. Nevertheless, after the crossover’s release, fans asked Epic Games to also release the Arnold Schwarzenegger version of The Terminator. Unfortunately, the developers never really replied to this or officially commented on it.
However, a reputable and famous Fortnite leaker did recently go snooping into Patch 25.20’s encrypted files added to the game and found multiple impending cosmetics. Those cosmetics also included a Terminator skin and other such items from the franchise, saying that fans might receive a brand-new Terminator crossover in the current season.
Fortnite leaker is convinced Terminator skins are returning
Famous Fortnite leaker, known as iFireMonkey, shared multiple pictures on Twitter of a rumored Fortnite collaboration with The Terminator franchise, which might be coming to the game soon. A Facebook user called “Barbieharp On Fortnite” posted the leaked photo, which was eventually removed sometime after.
Regardless, the leak indicates that Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator cosmetics might come to the game, which includes an outfit, Skynet Llama back bling, and an HK-Aerial glider. The leaker also posted an Item Shop video showcasing the cosmetic items in their full glory. However, we aren’t yet sure if it is simply a concept or an actual leak.
A Fortnite fan commented under the post, “No way, if this is real that means they got the rights to use Arnold’s face, and that’s awesome! Got this update is leaving my V-Bucks bone dry”. Another excited fan came up, saying, “Damn, I figured it’d be the T-1000. This is just as amazing, if not more so.”
A third fan further chimed in, “Shame it couldn’t just be a style but at least we finally got Arnold.” Even though the Fortnite player community truly believes that the crossover might come to the game soon, they still haven’t gotten any official confirmation from either Epic Games or The Terminator franchise.
