Netflix is now hyping up the nearing release of Elite Season 7. After announcing the coming of certain new faces, including Anitta, the streamer drops a steamy teaser trailer featuring the Brazilian artist. And to make things even hotter, the preview also includes Ivan.
Netflix has introduced the new faces that will come to Las Encinas, along with the return of one of the original stars, Omas Ayuso, to reprise his role as Omar. However, among the many new characters that will be seen, the service has kept Anitta’s role in secrecy. But based on the new trailer, the 30-year-old may have a major part in Elite Season 7.
The 30-second preview starts with Anitta enjoying a relaxing bath inside the shower room while someone seemingly watches her in secret. As she dries herself with a towel, she’s surprised to see a man behind her. “What are you doing here?” she asks.
The mysterious guy is revealed to be Ivan, who answers her with another question. “What’s the matter,” he asks. “Don’t act surprised. You know this is Elite.” True to the show’s fashion, Anitta can’t help but ask if he will kill her. As the scene cuts to show Elite Season 7’s release date, the singer-actress makes a face as she says, “**** this.”

What is Anitta’s role in Elite Season 7?
A couple of weeks before Elite Season 7’s release, Netflix has yet to reveal what role Anitta will play in the series. Though it has unveiled all the characters the newcomers will play, it chooses not to talk about Anitta.
In March, Netflix officially announced the songwriter’s arrival in Las Encinas, only describing her as a “Girl from Rio.” By the looks of it, fans will only know her mysterious character when the new season finally begins.
What is Elite Season 7 about?
Elite Season 7 will see Omar living a new life at university. But despite being far from Las Encinas, Nadia’s brother still finds it hard to move on after Samuel’s demise. He still feels the weight of what happened back then, resulting in his need for therapy.
However, after an internship, he decides to continue his studies to face his demons. Through Omar’s journey, fans are about to see that he’s not alone in this battle, as several other students suffer the same. By the looks of it, the new season will feature more about students’ mental health and more.

Elite’s season 7 will tackle mental health and how most of us neglect it out of fear or ignorance.
