Netflix has dropped new preview stills for the upcoming Elite Season 7. Aside from revealing a first look at Omar’s (Omar Ayuso) return, it also introduces the new characters fans are about to meet, including Anitta.
Elite is the longest-running Spanish scripted series on Netflix, created by Carlos Montero and Dario. After the success of the previous six seasons, the streamer renewed the show until the eighth season. Now, it’s hyping up the coming of Elite Season 7, along with the new faces joining the elite high school of Las Encinas.
The previews feature the return of Omar after his absence in the previous season. As one of the series’ OG cast members, many celebrated the news and even got excited when they saw his photo.
The stills also see the newcomer Fernando Linez, who will play the role of Joel, along with Gleb Abrosimov as Eric. But among these new faces, the center of attention goes to Anitta. Netflix has yet to reveal the Brazilian pop singer’s role in Elite Season 7. However, there are theories that she may portray one of the high school professors in the series.

Elite Season 7 will still feature the original cast Bokesa, André Lamoglia, Valentina Zenere, Álvaro de Juana, Carmen Arrufat, Álex Pastrana, Ander Puig, and Nadia Al Saidi to continue the drama and more scandals as the classes will soon resume in Las Encinas. What is Elite Season 7 about?
Details about Elite Season 7 remain under wraps until the Elite teens uncover the mystery surrounding the mysterious shooter who came to Las Encinas in the previous season finale. While no one knows who’s holding the gun, there are several suspects, as a number of people might be planning for revenge after what happened in Season 6.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Netflix, Balić, Abrosimov, and Bokesa tease that “a lot of new people” will come in this seventh season. Of course, the students will once again start their hooks up, but to whom they are going to do it is bound in secrecy.
Elite Season 7 will premiere on October 20 on Netflix. With the new faces and a mysterious shooter, many are surely waiting for the new season to come out.
