Demon Slayer Season 5, also known as the Infinity Castle Arc, is going to be the final season of the popular anime. Recently, it was officially revealed that the finale will be released as a trilogy of films distributed by both Sony Pictures Entertainment and Crunchyroll beyond Japan. This exciting news was shared by Crunchyroll after the last episode of Season 4 was released on June 30.
Unfortunately, they didn’t provide a release date or even a release window for the films to give us an idea of when they might be hitting the theatres. So far, all we know is that they are coming. Considering the popularity of Demon Slayer, there’s a high chance that the anime’s Season 5 might run like usual, with the film adaptations coming out after or with it.
However, nothing official has been released so far to confirm or deny this theory. Fans got a peek at the upcoming movies through a poster that featured the protagonist, Tanjiro, jumping through the alternative dimension called Infinity Castle, which is under the control of the antagonist Muzan Kibutsuji. The poster’s caption reads, “The All-Out War Begins.” You can see the poster below:
On top of this, a short trailer also came out that gives us a look at the Infinity Castle along with the main characters of the arc. The trailer features a sentence that says, "With a united will that lasts forever, enter the battle at Infinity Castle." You can watch the trailer below:
We aren’t quite shocked to hear that the Demon Slayer Finale is getting a film adaptation since the anime has occasionally released such adaptations for its episodes in the past. This means that there are high chances of the Infinity Castle trilogy being received with praise by the anime’s fans who are just looking to say a proper goodbye to their beloved anime.
What Fights Will Be in Demon Slayer’s Infinity Castle Arc?
Many battles in the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Arc will occur in the Dimensional Infinity Fortress. Even though we haven’t seen much of this fortress in the anime prior to the finale, that is going to change going forward. We already know what fights are going to take place in the Infinity Castle Arc thanks to the manga.

These fights feature significant moments and even the death of many important characters, making the finale an emotional journey. These fights will no doubt be really brutal and will make the final season even more exciting to watch.
