Deadpool & Wolverine is set to release on Blu-ray and DVD on October 22, and it's already available on digital platforms, but Marvel Studios wants to remind everyone that the MCU blockbuster is still playing in theaters, and as the spooky season approaches, a Halloween-themed teaser has been released to let moviegoers know.

Sure, there are horror films like Smile 2 and Terrifier 5 showing in theaters now, but Deadpool & Wolverine can also be a great film to watch for Halloween, and the new TV spot highlights the R-rated MCU film's "scariest" moments, with Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and Logan (Hugh Jackman) in the car, Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) doing that horrific finger thing to Agent Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen), a look at Headpool, and Wolverine's exhumed adamantium skeleton. There's also a shot of Wesley Snipes as Blade to remind us that the threequel got "vampires".

While theatrical windows seem to be getting shorter in recent years, Deadpool & Wolverine has remained in theaters since its July 27 release. The Shawn Levy-directed film recently surpassed Barbie, the highest-grossing film of 2023, and it has taken only less than 90 days for it to reach $1.3 billion worldwide, and $636 million in North America.

Deadpool & Wolverine also has become the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, and it's still breaking records. After Deadpool & Wolverine launched on Digital on October 1, the superhero team-up became the best-selling R-rated film of all time in its first week of availability (domestically).

Deadpool & Wolverine also surpassed Avengers' (2012) $622 million domestic record to the become the fifth-biggest comic book movie ever in the United States, and officially grossed over $1,334.6 billion globally, making it the second biggest film of the year worldwide after Inside Out 2, and it also surpassed Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017) as the 20th highest-grossing film ever.

The official synopsis of Deadpool & Wolverine reads: "Deadpool (Reynolds) is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine (Jackman) to save his universe from extinction."
