Deadpool & Wolverine is about to hit the theaters in a little over a month. As the excitement builds, so does the movie’s popcorn bucket craze. Last month, Ryan Reynolds unveiled the “intentionally crude and lewd” popcorn bucket in a post on X, showing an NSFW Wolverine-inspired tub. As this excites fans even more, here’s when and where to buy the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie’s popcorn bucket.

In April, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige teased the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket during Disney’s presentation at CinemaCon. True enough, the popcorn bucket is every inch inappropriate, perfectly fitting an R-rated movie, with its wide-open mouth, complete with Wolverine’s tongue, waiting to swallow the popcorn whole makes it look more explicit.

Where can you buy the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket?

Though Reynolds didn’t reveal where cinemagoers could buy the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket in his post, AMC Theaters later reshared the actor’s post, hinting that it would be available in its chains. AMC declined to comment on its price and availability in a Variety report.

The Dune: Part 2 popcorn bucket cost $24.99 when the film was released in March 2024, so it might be in the same price range. Barbie’s popcorn bucket was a little pricey at $65. So, hopefully, Deadpool & Wolverine’s popcorn bucket will be much more affordable.

However, AMC won’t be the only one to sell the Marvel film’s popcorn bucket, as Regal Cinemas also released its own version in May 2024. Compared to AMC, this one is much more wholesome. Though it didn’t reveal the full design, teasing it was modeled after a mysterious character, it showed its first-ever combination drink and popcorn collectible container designed after a white chair with an opening at the back.

“TVA Warning, Signal interrupted to prevent Multiverse spoilers,” a card appeared, hinting at a later reveal.

In addition, Cinemark Theaters revealed its own Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket inspired by Wolverine’s head. But instead of the adamantium-clawed superhero’s mouth, it was positioned upright, and the opening seemed on the top of its head.

When will the Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket be released?

So far, only Cinemark Theaters has revealed when its Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket will be released. Its post noted that the tub would be available on July 23, though the price remained unknown.

AMC Theaters usually releases its movie tie-in popcorn buckets before or after the films’ release dates. Its Barbie popcorn bucket was made available on July 2, 2023, three weeks before the movie’s premiere on July 21. Its Mean Girls popcorn bucket came out a day after the film’s debut on January 12, 2024. Lastly, Dune: Part Two’s bucket was released on February 29, 2024, a day before the sequel hit the big screen on March 1.

Regal Cinemas’ popcorn bucket for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire was released on March 17, 2024, the same week as the movie’s premiere date of March 22. That said, its Deadpool & Wolverine popcorn bucket might be available the same week as the film’s release date.
