Being the only Marvel movie releasing this year, fans have been on the lookout for everything Deadpool 3. Marvel Studios has done a good job of hyping up the third movie of Ryan Reynolds as the fan-favorite Merc with a Mouth and the return of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine after the 2017’s Logan. And to excite the viewers even more, Marvel Studios Japan has released its first synopsis, which comes with a major F-bomb.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Deadpool Updates has shared a new synopsis for Deadpool 3, mostly focusing on the characters of Wade Winston Wilson and James Howlett, aka Logan. Though nothing major comes out from it, it teases how the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to change.
“That f**king irresponsible hero Deadpool will change the history of the MCU with Wolverine!?” it reads.
Though it remains to be seen if this is the film’s official synopsis, it appears true to the movie series’ fashion. It’s very much in character, knowing how sarcastic Deadpool can be. However, with that F-word, there’s a big chance that the U.S. synopsis of the movie will be changed, especially since it’s under Walt Disney Studios.
Deadpool 3 Has Officially Wrapped Filming
Meanwhile, after a major delay due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Reynolds announced that the filming for Deadpool 3 has officially wrapped. In a post on Instagram, the actor thanked the film’s cast, staff, and director Shawn Levy, accompanied by a picture of his character’s pants. He even made fun of his co-star, Jackman, revealing how everyone tried to endure him.
He wrote:
Alternatively, Dogpool, one of the Deadpool Corps, also shared an update about the end of Deadpool 3 production. In a post on its Instagram page, the Merc with a Bark called the film its first movie and revealed how they worked their "pants off" to complete it. The canine, who would fight alongside Deadpool, also mentioned Levy, Jackman, and the film’s entire crew.
It said:
Deadpool 3 was originally set to be released on May 3, 2024, but the strike happened. Hence, it now has a new scheduled release of July 26. As this will mark Deadpool’s first film in the MCU and the reunion of Reynolds and Jackman after the 2009 X-Men Origins: Wolverine, fans need to see how their collaboration will play out.
