Shawn Levy has confirmed that the upcoming Deadpool 3 will be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And though this answers a big question, many now want to know how Wolverine, an iconic character from the X-Men, will make it to the MCU. Thankfully, new claims about his MCU debut have been revealed, and they seem credible.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), user MyTimeToShineHello, a scooper who has been known for being a reliable source, claims that Deadpool 3 will feature the Time Variance Authority (TVA) “picking up the prime versions of each hero to create a multiversal army to fight the Kangs.” From there, Wolverine gets recruited but won’t be “fully on board.”

The scooper cleared in the comment section that the third Deadpool film would be about Wade Wilson and Logan, not just about the Merc with a Mouth alone. “Deadpool just tag along in this one,” they commented. The source then explained the meaning behind the “prime versions of hero,” saying it was that the TVA considered the “ultimate/best version” of superheroes. And to clear the speculations, MyTimeToShineHello stressed the post was the movie’s synopsis and not a spoiler.

Later, MyTimeToShineHello retweeted CanWeGetSomeToast, another known scooper’s post, adding that Deadpool 3 is still “very much” a Deadpool movie, but seemed to confirm TVA’s appearance in the film. Wade’s antics with Cable’s time machine allegedly caught the organization’s attention, and he ended up its prisoner. There, he learned of its plans to form a multiversal army and decided to escape to convince Wolverine to come with him.

Will the Loki Season 2 finale be connected to Deadpool 3?

As the TVA is a major part of the ongoing Marvel TV series, Loki Season 2, one fan can’t help but ask if the second season’s nearing finale will feature this multiversal army. Knowing each of the studio’s shows or movies ends with a teaser for its next big project, CanWeGetSomeToast shared Loki’s co-executive producer Kevin Wright's interview, being asked if the second season would bridge to another Marvel film.

“Nothing that I could say in the near future,” he told Deadline. However, he confirmed that the “implications” would be seen in other projects, adding that the TVA still had a lot of stories to tell. Talking about how Loki Season 2 would end, Wright said that it would be a “real fulfillment” instead of a major cliffhanger but would still be “exciting and unexpected.”
