Chained Soldier Episode 6 Preview Teases Intense Battle Against Ugly Demons

The official website of the Chained Soldier anime series has revealed a preview trailer, stills and staff information for the sixth episode. Studio Seven Arcs is animating the dark fantasy series that's scheduled to premiere on Thursday, February 8, 2024, with the uncensored version streaming on HIDIVE. Chained Soldier Episode 6 is titled Assault, Sahara, Glittering (based on the English translation), and its official synopsis reads:

The ability "Crazy Sheep'' strengthens itself by a predetermined number of minutes, allowing it to avoid the attacks of the giant Vermilion and receive a painful counterattack. Shu Shu fights hard but is defeated by Sahara's hidden mode. At that moment, a humanoid ugly demon called "Rainen" suddenly attacks with a large number of ugly demons. Yuki becomes a slave of Kyoka and Himarin at the same time and takes on a new form called "Infinite Chains/Sengumo'' and mowing down a large number of ugly demons.

What is Chained Soldier anime about?

Chained Soldier is an action dark fantasy anime based on the manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura, which began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ online platform in January 2019. The ongoing manga series has 14 volumes published with the fifteenth volume to release on February 2, 2024. Yen Press holds the license for the English version of the manga and has published the first five volumes.

HIDIVE released a plot description for Chained Soldier:

Two supernatural forces appeared simultaneously on Earth: entrances to another dimension known as Mato, and Peaches, resources that give unique abilities to women. From the Mato come Yomotsu Shuuki, dangerous monsters that leave destruction in their wake. The government’s Anti-demon Corps stands against these creatures, employing women empowered by Peaches to face the monstrous threat. Yuuki Wakura watches these forces clash from a distance, but when he unexpectedly runs afoul of a Yomotsu Shuuki, he’s rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corp—and she sees something in him that could turn the tide of the monster incursion. Yuki holds the unique power to make Peaches more effective, but he’ll have to become Kyoka’s willing slave to join the fight against the Yomotsu Shuuki and save the world.
