The official website of the Chained Soldier anime series has revealed a preview trailer, stills and staff information for the fourth episode. Studio Seven Arcs is animating the dark fantasy series that's scheduled to premiere on Thursday, February 1, 2024, with the uncensored version streaming on HIDIVE. Chained Soldier Episode 5 is titled Sisters, Yachiho, scoff, and its official synopsis reads:
After receiving the opening ``Brand Break'', Yachiho uses ``Tatsu no Toki (Golden Hour)'' and returns to the beginning of the match. Hinamari realizes that she has used her ability, so he changes his strategy to disrupt her and exhaust Yachiho's ability. Himarin and his friends let Yachiho waste her abilities and gradually corner her, but they fall due to Yachiho's secret plan. In a desperate situation, Himarin and his friends were able to win with Yuki acting as a decoy in the end. And then, the reward from Hinomarin who recognized Yuki begins.

What is Chained Soldier anime about?
Chained Soldier is an action dark fantasy anime based on the manga series written by Takahiro and illustrated by Yohei Takemura, which began serialization on the Shonen Jump+ online platform in January 2019. The ongoing manga series has 14 volumes published with the fifteenth volume to release on February 2, 2024. Yen Press holds the license for the English version of the manga and has published the first five volumes.
HIDIVE released a plot description for Chained Soldier:
Two supernatural forces appeared simultaneously on Earth: entrances to another dimension known as Mato, and Peaches, resources that give unique abilities to women. From the Mato come Yomotsu Shuuki, dangerous monsters that leave destruction in their wake. The government’s Anti-demon Corps stands against these creatures, employing women empowered by Peaches to face the monstrous threat. Yuuki Wakura watches these forces clash from a distance, but when he unexpectedly runs afoul of a Yomotsu Shuuki, he’s rescued by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Seventh Unit of the Anti-demon Corp—and she sees something in him that could turn the tide of the monster incursion. Yuki holds the unique power to make Peaches more effective, but he’ll have to become Kyoka’s willing slave to join the fight against the Yomotsu Shuuki and save the world.
