Bridgerton Season 3 Part 1 made fans fall in love with Colin Bridgerton’s (Luke Newton) proposal to the blooming wallflower Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan). But as the two enjoy their newfound romance, the secret about Penelope’s alter ego, Lady Whistledown, is still looming. So, considering Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) is Colin’s sister and had a fallout with Penelope, the trailer for Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 shows Eloise threatening Penelope to reveal her secret.

You can watch the Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 preview below:

The Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 trailer begins with the excited Penelope inside the carriage. The scene then shifts to Penelope and Colin entering the Bridgerton house to announce their engagement. As everyone celebrates, Eloise visibly looks unhappy with the news. Like what Queen Charlotte’s (Golda Rosheuvel) voiceover says, the announcement spreads like wildfire, with many surprised by the marriage.

“Who needs fresh air when there is fresh gossip?” Lady Danbury (Adjoa Andoh) asks while eating with Queen Charlotte.

As the preparation begins, Penelope’s mom, Portia Featherington (Polly Walker), reveals she wants everyone in the ton to focus on her child’s upcoming nuptials. Penelope then confesses to Colin, telling him she has always loved him and nothing makes her happier than being with him.

However, it looks like this happiness may soon end. Eloise confronts Penelope for not letting her brother know she’s Lady Whistledown. This makes Penelope beg Eloise not to tell Colin her secret. Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) express their surprise at Colin’s “rather sudden” engagement.

As Colin explains himself, stressing that he has known Penelope for a long time, he eventually admits that everything happens a little swiftly. Portia then offers a toast for the season's big event, with Eloise interrupting and saying, “Here is to truly knowing each other,” subtly mocking Penelope. This makes Penelope uncomfortable, having a hard time breathing and walking out.

Colin then finds ink on her fingers, asking if she has been writing. A confrontation between Eloise and Penelope is then revealed, with the former saying she will reveal the truth to Colin herself if Penelope finds it hard to do. As Queen Charlotte hints at the surprise Bridgerton Season 3 Part 2 will do that will change the Marriage Mart’s pattern, she reveals Penelope can never tolerate a lie.
