Physical: Asia recently wrapped up its intense run on Netflix, concluding with a nail-biting finale where Team Korea edged out Team Mongolia to claim victory. The regional showdown brought together elite athletes from eight Asian nations, pushing them through grueling challenges that tested strength, endurance, and teamwork, ultimately crowning South Korea as the champion in a dramatic finish.
The global phenomenon that began with the original Physical: 100 is rapidly evolving into a worldwide franchise. With Physical: Asia now concluded, Netflix and the production team are pushing forward with an ambitious slate of international adaptations and expansions. Here’s everything we know about the Physical: 100 spinoffs currently in development or under serious discussion.
Spinoffs Teased by Physical 100 Producer Jang Ho-gi
In a recent interview with Deadline, series creator and producer Jang Ho-gi outlined the long-term vision for global growth. He emphasized a deliberate, step-by-step expansion: “We thought that instead of going for Physical: World from the get-go, maybe it’s better to start off with our neighboring nations first.”
Jang reinforced the show’s core philosophy: “The whole tagline of the show is to transcend race, genders and borders, so we always wanted to expand.” He confirmed active development on new territories, stating: “Our entire goal was to slowly expand to other countries, with our spin-offs in the pipeline for Physical: US and Italy.”
The producer also highlighted overwhelming demand from other regions. On Brazil, he shared: “I get the most amount of messages from Brazilian fans, saying that they want to see a Physical: 100, Brazil version,” adding, “I would love to see it too, because they are a sporting powerhouse and are big sports lovers.” Africa was another frequently requested location, with Jang noting strong interest in a potential continental edition.

Produced by Endemol Shine Italy, the series is moving forward, though no release window has been set.
Physical: Europe
A broader European edition is in active discussion, designed to follow the team-based regional format of Physical: Asia and bring together top athletes from multiple countries across the continent.
Physical: Brazil and Physical: Africa
While not yet greenlit, both Brazil and an African edition are high on producer Jang Ho-gi’s wishlist, fueled by passionate fan requests and the regions’ proven athletic talent pools.
With an ultimate Physical: World showdown still in the long-term plans, the Physical: 100 empire is only just beginning its global conquest.
