Just like that, February is about to end, and Netflix has just released its new content for March. But aside from some of the big international titles, like Damsel and Supersex, there will also be several new K-content coming to the streamer, and they come with a variety. So, from an emotional movie like My Name is Loh Kiwan to a hilarious comedy Chicken Nugget, here are the four new Korean content fans are about to see starting on March 1.

1 My Name is Loh Kiwan
After the success of the 2021 movie Space Sweepers, Song Joong-ki is back on Netflix. However, fans are about to see a different Hallyu star this time, as he will play a North Korean defector in My Name is Loh Kiwan. The 38-year-old actor will try his luck to seek refugee status to fulfill his mother’s dying wish for him to have his own identity and live his own life, albeit in a foreign country. But things will never be easy for him.
Written and directed by Kim Hee-jin, the movie is based on the novel I Met Loh Kiwan by the author Cho Hae-jin. It also stars Choi Sung-eun, Jo Han-chul, Kim Sung-ryung, Lee Il-hwa, Lee Sang-hee, and Seo Hyun-woo. The film is scheduled for release on Friday, March 1.
2 Queen of Tears
Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won will work together in a new K-drama Queen of Tears. Following the story of the married couple Hong Hae-in and Baek Hyun-woo, the two are about to face different challenges in their marriage due to their different status, work, and lifestyle. But despite everything they will go through, they will prove that love matters the most in this romantic comedy as their feelings for each other will be renewed.
Written by Park Ji-eun (Crash Landing on You) and co-directed by Jang Young-woo (Bulgasal: Immortal Souls) and Kim Hee-won (Vincenzo, Little Women), the series will feature an ensemble cast, like Park Sung-hoon, Kwang Dong-yeon, and Lee Joo-bin. Queen of Tears is set to be released on Saturday, March 9, and will air every Saturday and Sunday on tvN. Streaming on Netflix in select regions and TVING in South Korea will also be available.
3 Chicken Nugget
After making fans fall in love with her role as Do Do-hee opposite Song Kang in My Demon, Kim Yoo-jung will once again stun viewers with her incredible beauty in Chicken Nugget. However, she won’t be a part of a chaebol family this time, but a daughter of a company president played by none other than Ryu Seung-ryong. But in a little twist of fate and unexpected turn of events, Yoo-jung will turn into a chicken nugget that will see her dad doing everything to recover his child and turn her back into a human being again.
Based on the Naver webtoon of the same title by PJD (Park Jidok), the comic mystery chase drama is directed by Lee Byung-hun (Extreme Job). It will also see Ahn Jae-hong as Seung-ryong’s intern and the special appearance of the Squid Game star Jung Ho-hyeon as Korea’s best taste columnist. The series is slated to release on Friday, March 15.
4 Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground
Fans who can’t get enough of the survival show Physical: 100 are in for a big treat. Netflix recently announced the release date of the return of the reality series, now titled Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground. Compared to the first season, the streamer promised that its second iteration would be bigger, with higher stakes, harder challenges, and an extensive arena of a huge mine.
But like the first, it will still have a hundred diverse contenders of all ages, gender identities, and fitness backgrounds who will vie to prove they have the "ideal physique." It will include renowned athletes, like the first Korean UFC fighter, Kim Dong-hyun, judo gold medalist Lee Won-hee, and the wrestling gold medalist Anthony Jung. The second series is scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, March 19.
