In a few days, February will come to an end and the month of March will soon begin. Of course, this means Netflix is about to unveil a new set of TV shows and movies fans can look forward to, and it includes a number of great titles they have to see. The streamer will be in full swing by featuring the Game of Thrones creators’ 3 Body Problem, Millie Bobby Brown’s Damsel, Adam Sandler's Spaceman, and more.
From the creators David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo, a TV adaptation of the renowned novel The Three-Body Problem by the Chinese fiction author Liu Cixin will hit the small screen next month. Titled 3 Body Problem, it will see the British actor Benedict Wong in the lead, alongside Jess Hong, Jovan Adepo, and Eiza González, to name a few. The new epic drama will let fans delve into different mysteries and shocking discoveries in the world, spanning continents and timelines.
Stranger Things fans are also up for a big treat. While waiting for Brown’s return as Eleven, they can see her in a different light in the new movie Damsel. Directed by the Oscar-nominated filmmaker Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, it will tell a different fairytale story as a princess’ dream of happily ever after turns out to be her greatest nightmare after her prince charming sacrifices her to a dragon. But instead of crying out, Brown will prove she’s no damsel in distress who needs saving as she fights her way back and stops a tradition that kills innocent women.
In addition, viewers will see Adam Sandler back on Netflix in Spaceman. This time, the comedian will not try to make fans laugh as he will play the role of Jakub, an astronaut drifting in the cosmos. Based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař, Sandler will be mostly alone on the screen and will only be accompanied by a mysterious creature who will appear on the latter part of his interstellar mission.
And just when fans thought it would take some time before Physical: 100 Season 2 hit the small screen, Netflix announced it would be released next month. Officially titled Physical: 100 Season 2 – Underground, a hundred contenders will once again compete with each other to prove one of them has the “perfect physique.”
The story of the world-famous porn star Rocco Siffredi will finally be told in the biographical TV series Supersex. But fans should take note that though the show is loosely based on his life, it’s "highly fictionalized," meaning it’s inspired by him but not totally about him after the series creator and writer Francesca Manieri has put much of herself into it. Anyhow, it will still feature the fun and drama of what working in the porn industry is like.
For K-drama fans, Netflix also has something for you this March. Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won are back in Queen of Tears. This time, they will play the role of a married couple whose lives will be marred by personal and corporate problems. But though divorce will be an option for them, the two will fight for their love in this romantic comedy.
