A Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player recently shared his story that he suffered a weird death while on a trampoline. They said that Link kept jumping up and down while he was dead, but the player was unable to rescue him or do anything about it.

The game, Tears of the Kingdom, is filled with hilarious deaths that occur all the time, but this definitely ranks at the top as one of the most awkward ones ever reported.

The new Zelda game was released back in May and so far is among some of the most successful games of the year. Even though the franchise was a beloved Nintendo title, it did not sell as well as other titles like Mario or Pokemon before the release of Breath of the Wild.

However, now, with the open-world concept, Zelda is well underway to become the new Pokemon when we talk about financial success. In less than a week, the game sold 10 million units, and fans are still pretty hyped about the game.

Space_Dweeb, a Tears of the Kingdom player, recently took to Reddit to share a brief clip in which people can see the awkward death of Link on a trampoline. In the clip, the Hero of Hyrule jumps up on a platform located in a flying ruin but somehow faces paralysis while falling and then completely stops moving.

After that, the trampoline continues to toss his body in the air multiple times, reducing only a quarter of a heart with each jump. Space_Dweeb joked that Link “broke his back,” but we believe the problem was because of a weird physics interaction with the character.

In the post’s comments, most players thought the entire scenario was extremely funny. It was made even funnier by the fact that Tulin from Rito Village, one of Link’s companions, simply stood while all of it happened without doing anything to help him.

Since Tears of the Kingdom was just released, Nintendo has been trying hard to fix all the problems with the game. Nonetheless, it does end up annoying a bunch of players.

Awkward deaths in the game are one way to get a good laugh while you’re at it! Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is now available on Switch.
